![]() I like how I can make a whole todo page and have the individual large task as a subpage within the main todo page and then have sub-tasks that when completed, can be easily identifiable with a progress bar or even little stars which is super motivating in comparison to a tick or a fade-out (this requires some coding but learnable). I’m that kind of person who needs a todo list to get my stuff sorted for the day and yes the default notepad is the easy way to go but my only problem with it is that it doesn’t help breaking down tasks especially for bigger tasks like writing a paper about political assassinations and the impact it has on international relations or cleaning my awful pigsty of a dorm room. I made my Notion into my second brain just for law work so it was easier to track assignments. I’ll admit I do use Goodnotes for note taking too which sorta fits in the category of physically taking notes but that’s mostly for tutorials so a bulk of my proper notes are on Notion, catalogued and identifiable + it’s easy to share around. I personally found physical notes taxing, especially for content heavy classes so I’m a fan of digital note taking. My personal experience after using it for 3 years of undergrad law is the customisation of it and the streamlining of tasks, agendas and long term projects. This is a little tickier, but it's just a formula filter for the next week, and a view filter for the items whose related recipe is shown on the relations for the next week. You can add recipes from the recipe book and it will display all the ingredients that you need and are not already on the "To buy" list. It also shows if the ingredients are already on your "To buy" list.Īnd lastly, a meal planner. ![]() It's super comfortable because it updates itself when you want to change ingredients. This is done by filtering the view for the ingredients that show this recipe on their relation. On the recipes DB I can go on the related items and then check them in case they are not checked, or I can do it through the linked database every recipe has inside the entry, which allows me to do it with area selection. ![]() It's fairly simple but what I use the most in my Notion, I think.Īs you can see, the ingredients are related to recipes. It's a view filtererd by activated checkboxes, so I can click them out when I'm doing shopping. ![]() Everything clicked on the left column will be shown on the "To buy" view. ![]()
